I think it's because people still don't accept each other the way we are, for instance we always look at the outside and never explore the person from the inside. When people suffer in life they don't always walk with a smile on their faces. They always have a hatred look on their faces. Also, people believe in stories they read in newspapers, but they would never go through the bible to find the right answer for how to treat others that are suffering.

Simply because not everyone is into "God-solution." Even those who think and believe they are are not actually trusting and relying on God 100%. When personalities and biases come into the picture - God is not among them.
