Hello,

Like they say in the military. there is no such things as good and bad soldiers; only good and bad leaders. When parents in collaboration with the school systems coddle the kids and refuse to teach them values and instill discipline throughout the childrens' lives they are acting as piss poor leaders. What do expect then?

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

There's no one person or thing we can blame. However, we can pinpoint a few things. Violence is becoming more and more accepted. Kids go home and play video games where they can run around and shoot off the heads of others. While people should have the freedom to do this in a game or watch a violent movie or tv program, some kids really just can't handle it and keep it as fiction. Parents are busy doing other things and they don't know what's going on with their kids. And when something goes slightly wrong, or there is a hint that something may happen, schools don't always do something about it.

Alright I think that if you kid is (for the lack of a better word) stupid enough to be influenced by a simple video game then maybe the person who bought the game is the one to blame. Or maybe your kids shouldn't play them at all. Violent movies? Don't let them watch. It isn't that hard people. Anyway you asked if this could be prevented. Yes and no. Some kids who were shooters had mental problems. Their problems may or may not have been fixed and until we find a cure for them (if you can) then kids like that will still be around. As for the kids that are bullied enough that they snap and kill 15 people that might be able to be prevented. Stop bullying. Sounds easy though it isn't. Bullying is more than pushes and punches now days. Mean words, harassment in the hallways, all that stuff is what it's about.

i replaced into no longer taught to guard myself and ended up being bullied as a consequence so won't be able to advise that as a process action. i replaced into raised to admire individuals and replaced into surprised as quickly as I chanced on in college that some human beings curiously improve their youngsters to be violent little shits ! although this regrettably a actuality of life and you're right to be thinking how suited to prepare your toddler against it. From my point of view, given what passed off to me, i'll be telling my toddlers to stand as much as the bullies yet to accomplish that in a non violent way, otherwise they could be not greater valuable than the guy doing the bullying. extremely how they might desire to bypass approximately it particularly is something I even have not worked out yet. yet i think that merely status as much as somebody verbally might normally be sufficient. or possibly i'm merely naive.

Yes - make guns illegal. I can't imagine living in a place where you have to walk through metal detectors to go to school. I would be scared every minute of the day.

Yes, listen to your kids they tell about at the dinner table, or don't you talk to each other?

When your gun goes of, it is to late!
