You sound like you are dealing with this in a very calm way! I think I would have been 'insane' after the first week. Anyway, all the visits to you by social services, police and other agencies will be on record, surely they should not keep on calling at your home without very good reason, is your neighbour guilty of time wasting? I could suggest reporting your neighbour's behaviour to the police but would this light the blue touch paper and make matters worse! (could they get any worse?) Sorry, I can not offer any more good advice, but I wish you the very best of luck!

Wow... I would be really mad and frustrated. They sound very bad. I think that they're hearing things because they're high on drugs. Once I was at a wedding party and a guy living next door kept yelling at us because he thought that we were really loud, but he was hallucinating. He called the police, but got himself arrested instead. Plus, I have a neighbour that walks down the streets high, singing his heart out. It's really scary and annoying. But I've never experienced anything close to what you're experiencing! I would move.
Good luck for the rest of your days living beside those neighbours!!

Write down every detail with time and date for a month. Take it to the police and council. They should end up with an ASBO and it could mean an eviction notice served. Also your local council may help with other things they can do too especially as you haven't retaliated. Good luck.

Are they on drugs? (seriously) They might be addicts of some kind.
I know how you feel, as we had very bad neighbors at one time. We just tried to keep our distance from them. It's best not to retaliate as this will just turn a bad situation into something intolerable.
You didn't mention is this is an apartment or not...if so..you can move to get away from them or report them to the manager or owner of the building.

hi,
if you have or can borrow a camcorder i would try and get some evidence of what they are like on tape. keep a diary of everything that is going on. Talk with your other neighbours and if they are having problems with them too i would approach at least the housing authority, police or a solicitor to get them forced out.
Try to ignore them when your coming and going from the house.
Of course it always helps if youve a menacing looking nutter in the family to scare the living daylights out of them....hehehe
good luck, hope you get it sorted!

I pity you, they sound awful. Do you own or rent? If you rent --- get out of there and find a better location and get away from that stress. If you own, perhaps you should contact your city attorney's office for advice. Also, what do your other neighbors say about them? If they are renters, contact their landlord. You poor thing, I feel for you, I really do. We should have peace in our homes and our neighborhoods.

I feel so sorry for you and your family.
Get yourself a good tape recorder and tape them, and when you go to the police you will have proof.

Ask the other neighbours if they've had problems with them then get a petition to get them evicted cos they obviously have mental problems.
