If by agreeing to do so, it meant world peace for 50 years?

(This sacrifice means you'd never see your family, loved ones, never have money / safe housing etc.... but world peace means no wars, no famine etc)

I don't think so. I feel really bad for saying that though. Iwould do whatever I could... but I don't think I could give away all hope of happiness.

Talk to our U.S. American fighting forces. We do that every day with the HOPES of peace and freedom!
I went for 13 months, twice at 12 months each, and twice for 6 months without seeing or talking to my family. Not counting several 10 days to 2 months on temporary assignments. Letters took 10-14 days to go ONE WAY. During my 13 month separation, I got no mail for almost 6 months and only an occasional 'ham-radio-phone patch' for a few minutes ("I love you, over") with the whole world able to listen in with a short wave radio.
Would I do it again (did it for over 20 years), you bet your sweet a.s.s. I would!

God, of course! But the snag is that so many people have tried to do it in the past an ended up ignored and forgotten about.
