Why do you take such an extremist stance on your lack of belief? If people want to believe, why can't you just let them? Your negativity is not going to win converts

Oprah mourns death of her dog Gracie

Oprah Winfrey is mourning the death of her 2-year-old golden retriever, Gracie.

"Weeks have passed," Winfrey says in the August issue of O, the Oprah Magazine. "And the pain has not subsided. Every time I think about it, my heart starts racing and I feel like I just got stabbed in the chest."

In Rebel Without a Cause, The Breakfast Club, Donnie Darko and Dazed and Confused do these representations and values below accurately reflect our society?
Please help!!
The representations of average white, American, high school students as rebellious, careless, rude, self absorbed, disrespectful and roguish etc.
The value of hedonism, especially in Dazed and Confused.
Does that representation and that value accurately reflect our society? Why? How?
I need to do this on two of these films, one being Rebel Without a Cause and the other any.

im one of those people that gets picked on constantly and made fun of and its caused a great deal of pain and very low self esteem (i dont have confidence for many many reasons but im not going to get in to it) i was made fun of a lot since the age of 4 or 5 by my older brother and sister who would say awful and hurtful things which i kind of think messed me up for life because by the time i was ready to go to school i already had no confidence and people picked on me..its hard when ur little to not be sensitive to the things my siblings would say cuz i mean how could you not be when ur 4? but anyway i've always been made fun of and had rude things said to me constantly even by people that are my friends...its ruined my life because i feel like i cant trust anyone and i just dont know how to not be an easy target since i obviously am one

In regards to the amazing popularity of television shows, movies, and so on, I find it fascinating how few people speak, openly of ghosts/spirits. Personally, I KNOW of the spirit of a deceased man, who, once, lived in my residence. Why dont I FEAR him? Simple, he has never tried to harm me. I just wonder why others FEAR the "supernatural"? Why do we FEAR what we do not understand? Why does the fleeting glimpse, of a spirit, scare most people atleast as much as having as having a gun pointed at ones face? Why do we run from un-known noises? If the deceased have not harmed a person, then WHY should the person FEAR the deceased?

Most of the answers I have seen on this forum have been flippant and some just stupid. Seems to me that alot of the people don't know how to reflect or read the question. The ones who give the most absurd answers won't allow emails so a reader or a person who asked questions can not reply. I believe that many just want the stupid points and truly do not want to be helpful to thier fellow person.

I was fired from a research program after working for 6 weeks and only having 3 weeks left because my appointed faculty got rid of me. I only got $2,000 instead of the full $4,000 I would have gotten had I stayed in the program. They fired me because they said I would not have made enough progress on my research however after 3 weeks of working there I fully understood what I did wrong. I believe that the sole reason why I was fired is because they believed I was responsible for urinating on the floor in a bathroom in the lab building. However they were at least 15 males who used the bathroom each day and there was no one who said that they saw or heard me make the mess. What will be a great way I can get revenge on my faculty?

where i work at theres all kinds of different ethnic groups, whites, blacks, chinese, and middle easterns. everyone seems nice and all except for the group of middle eastern people. they only wanna talk in their own little group. im white and i can go up and talk with everyone and mingle during lunch and were all mingleing except for the middle eastern people. i usual smile if i walk past someone and they smile back. then i can smile at a middle eastern and they wont smile or nothing. so its kind of hard to aproach them and start a conversation. whats with that? is it like there culture or something?

I want to lose at least 10 pounds before school starts. All my friends say that I' skinny, but I don't think I am. Also, what are some good excersises to help lose leg, thigh, stomach, and arm fat. Just a litttle. By the way, do you think that I can lose 10 pounds by 2 months by eating health and excercising a little bit more than I'm used too (not excessively though). Also, I'm like 5'-5'1''.
