Ok this girl I know in high school is trying to embarrass me on Facebook on my high schools network by putting a embarrassing video of me on the posted section. Well apparantly it is on the list. Is their anyway I can get it off besides reporting the video. Like post another video to bump it off etc.

People like that I really despise I mean how despicable she tries at every chance just to embarrass me even when I do almost nothing to her. A good example is when she calls me ugly and just tries to demean me and provoke me like she did in the video.

The problem is we live in a country where there is a cult of violence. We demand to own guns, including very dangerous automatic guns. We "love" to watch violent movies like "Death Wish" series, Steven Seagal's killings of 'bad guys" or "The Matrix". Or playing video electronic games where mayhem and killing is part of the "entertainment". And we "glorified" the war in Iraq. USA is a sick country that "loves" violence. And it can't handle the truth. What do you think? And careful the "insults". I'll report you.

What would it look like?

2007-04-20 12:20:48 · 13 answers · asked by Anonymous

I'm going to use two examples here, one religious and one current. Example 1: Jesus preached that everybody should be accepted, regardless of who they are, what religion they are, or how they act. He taught that people should be themselves, rather than who people want them to be and that they should be loved for it. He taught that everyone should love everyone else, no matter what. He died on the cross to put emphasis on his message. So, why do Christians hate non-christians, why do they all act they same? Why don't they do as Jesus taught rather than being blinded by the mythology that came 300 years later?

Example 2: Cho Seung-Hui killed and died because of the way society is. He did what he did becuase of the unfariness of the system, because the rich don't care about the poor, and because those who act differently are alienated and downtrodden. So, why do the fingers point at gun control and mental health? Why don't we hear what he had to say and adress the same issues he did?

I understand why white girls wear them. Can somebody explain?

I'm a fairly liberal guy but I think there comes a point where you have to draw the line when girls who wear their denim skirts and their short shorts are revealing.
Further, I don't understand is that they say they are conservative/Republican and church going but find themselves scantily clad.

An example would be college and high schools girls in particular.

Rational feedback and comments will be really appreciated

honestly, i feel sorry for those people. are they going to get a gold metal out of being rude and getting points?? i think its funny how they just say any old rubbish comment and to me it shows that they are cowards. its always safe to hide behind the curtain isn't it??? maybe they are all just little people who cannot bully anybody else in any other way(other than in yahoo! answers). those people who are rude and have called other people nasty names, i can almost guarantee you that they would NOT do that if they were in a real, in person situation! whenever i see bad answers now, i just laugh(honestly). they do just want a reaction!

Why do we have to make fun of people who speak different or is a different color or his/her religion is different, etc. I'm not saying that's an excuse to kill anyone, but may be with the bad actions we made against people, more ahead if they are immmigrants or immigrants descentdants, as we all are in the U.S., Afro-Americans etc, may be is a trigger for a person to be killer in the future. Why we can't respect the others? Accept every body, What if he/she is black, white, from a different nationality, etc? Every body got the right to look for a better future, in here or any where else, we are no body to push or to make fun about any one. May be is time to teach our children to respect every body to grow up a better generation in the future and with a cleaner mind to accept the others. Don't you see that these actions still inside of our minds and may be one of ten will explode and do something as had happened in V.T? May be we can make the difference in a nearby future.

"The right-to-life activists claim they are working to strengthen the family. Does a 14-year-old child on welfare with an unwanted child constitute the kind of family they have in mind?"- Margot Close, Keene, N.H.
"Anti-abortionists pose the question What if Einstein's mother had an abortion? I ask: What if Hitler's mother had had one?"
Pamela Brown, New York City

(Quotes are from "The Religious Case for Abortion)
I fully agree with both quotes, what do you gals/guys think?

I come here out of morbid curiosity and wind up staying to point and laugh, yell, and oogle the trainwrecks.

This is really unhealthy.
