As long as those footsteps do not belong to a woman in loud, clanking high heels, then yes, I love the sound of echoing footsteps in a museum. Thanks for this question. I can actually envision what you are saying right now, and it's quite pleasant to think about!

As a matter of fact I do. For some reason, all of my life I have been very sensitive to the sound of footsteps on hard floors in office buildings, doctor's offices and other large places. Are we weird or what?

sure; I love echoes of any kind...it's so fascinating. I love the click clack of the heels hitting the wood floor or marble floor in some cases.

Yes. We have one at the top of our road and even when the museum is full, there's still that spooky silence until you start walking again.

Yes, I also love the "clip-clop" sound of hard-soled dress shoes on wooden floors. The sound I hate, though, is the sound of flip-flops, anywhere, anytime. That slapping sound drives me batty. LOL
