Hi everyone,
Im a year11 student and have been chosen as head of the prom committee, and we had a vote for our theme for the prom and it was tied between Masquerade and Hollywood/oscar night, however we decided to go for the masquerade theme. But the thing is i have no idea where to look for some really good decorations for this theme, i have a pretty tight budget of £150 and i really want it to impress everyone! Please could you find me some good UK sites where i could buy the decor off, if you cannot find one for this theme, maybe you could find one for hollywood/ oscars night??????

I find it confusing that most women want their men to perform cunnilingus on them but they think that fellacio is degrading. Did I miss something here? Does it bother you and why?

The reason I ask is because I don't think it bothers most women one bit if a man is losing his hair. Put it this way, we prefer a man who goes bald gracefully than a man with a comb over or a Francis Rossi!! My hubby and brother are both going bald and they're both pretty much ok with it. They shave it off to a number 1 or 2 and they look and feel fine. But, I know it bothers some men and I wonder why.

Why is our society based on alcohol? Consider, for instance, ceremonies such as weddings, when it is customary to have either wine or champagne to celebrate the occasion. Also consider the stereotypical father-son sharing of a beer for the first time. And the nearly-required after-graduation party....as well as the fact that it is nearly a must to drink in high school, even though it is illegal. And then the typical bachelor party or any party for that matter is considered to be nothing if there is no alcohol present. Why is alcohol such a huge part of our society that every occasion, every celebration, every gathering of adults, requires alcohol to be present?

there are two petrol pumps and you are the third in line. The person at the first pump decides that she wants to do her weeks shopping. She queues for everything and pays then on her way out decides to buy a plant and goes back and queues again. 25 minutes waiting for this woman to get off the flaming pump. If you need to shop do it in the super market not at the flaming petrol station. What is wrong with people that I am kept waiting for a lady to decide whether she is going to drink Merlot or Pinot Noir with her dinner tonight whilst I wait patiently to fill up my damn car. You supermarket people out there pleae try to lay on enough parking spaces so stupid people doing their shopping can get off the flaming pumps.

I think that most of what people desire seems to be artificial, a product of our past. To explain, in the times before civilization people had to struggle to survive, to eat required hard work which was motivated by you instinct to live. Now with the advent of agriculture you have people that don't have to work very hard to eat compared to the past, therefore they find that their need for struggle is not met. This led to the development of the countless ways humans distract themselves from feeling incomplete. But on some level, most people aren't satisfied with their distractions, they grow bored easily and must inject some kind of action into their lives to feel alive. On this level however, people aren't acting much different than their primitive selves. Perhaps we actually have the potential to realize the need for struggle within ourselves and let go of desire for things which will never fill the hole inside. People are designed to be a cup, never full, why try to fill it up?
