I'm Asian and I'm proud to be but sometimes I just think that I would be treated better if I were white. Then I think would my friends have approached me if I weren't Asian (they're Asian) does anyone feel the same way??

There is an unwritten "No Snitching" rule in many minority occupied neighborhoods. The rule requires that all residents keep quiet about illegal activities that go on in the ‘hood. If you tell, or snitch to the feds (police) you are forever labeled a rat, a snitch and a trick. Along with the name calling and bad reputation comes the threat of violence. Some people would rather go to jail than to face all the negative consequences of being a police or government informant. Yet and still the same thugs and gang members that people keep quiet to protect turn around and do a drive by in which little kids coming from the corner store get caught in the cross fire.

My question has 3 parts:
A. Does the No Snitch rule hurt or help the hood?
B. Do you think the rule will ever Change?
C. What needs to happen to put the change into affect?

I watched the entire movie along with alternate deleted scenes. It seems like it is full of very anti semetic and anti-black propeganda. I mean I try to keep an open mind but I just cant help but thinking that there is something wierd with thier intentions. It was even more evident in some of the deleted scenes (especially the scene when the two Israeli bodyguards kill the girl and his boyfriend and laugh about it together. Did anyone else find the movie to be a little strange in the stereotypical way they portray black people and jewish people?

ok we all tell kids there are no stupid questions to encourage their curiosity. However we all know that at a certain age there are stupid questions. Especailly freshman in college ask some of the stupid questions ever. Like they ask something that the professor just said. I think some people think asking questions make them look smart. So Yes i believe after like 16 there are stupid questions

I don't think I can cope with YA anymore - it's giving me a very dim view of humanity. The worst kind of cretinous, racist, narrow-minded and hateful bigots are spilling their filth onto this place and nothing's done about it, aside from ocassioanly taking 10 points off them.
Why is this planet so full of hatred and idiocy?

i moved to california about 4 yars ago and i've noticed alot of hispanic people (not all) but alot are racist or atleast think alot of white people are racist towards them. I am white and i grew up in hawaii. i grew up in a city where literally maybe 10 white people lived there. the locals hate white people i went through alot of crap as a kid and teenager. I was always in fights constantly trying to defend myself, treated like crap had rocks thrown at me, just treated like an outsider because of my skin color. I was wondering do hispanic people go through the same things i went through? do people pick fights with you? throw rocks at you? treat you like crap everywhere you go? i'm just curious?

Let's say you cheat on your wife, but you vocally oppose adultery. You acknowledge that what you did is wrong, and you still say adultery is bad. Is that hypocrisy? Or is it only hypocritical if you say YOU can commit adultery, but others can't? In other words, is hypocrisy about contradicting yourself, or holding yourself to a double-standard? Or both? I'd like to hear what you think.
