I was homeschooled so I've never been to a prom (no was never asked to one either). I have been to weddings, however, and was wondering if proms generally have a "king and queen dance" ala the "bride and groom dance" at weddings. Going by certain episodes of "Full House" and "The Simpsons" it would appear so, but those are just TV shows.

my mother met a woman named crystal from troy, ny online, and in May 2006 crystal came here to maryland and they made me (21), my brother (22), and my sister (19) move to troy, ny all in one day. At the time it seemed like things would be ok, so we just went along with the move, but as she had done in the past Crystal became agressive and abusive and even cursed my mother's parents out when she came with my mother to drive me back to Maryland for college and my mother just sat there and looked sad, and I just stay at my father's mother's house when I am not on campus. My brother, who is 22 and has autism is still in troy, ny, but he does not want to be staying there and my mother refuses to allow him to leave because she is using his social security check to pay rent. But my brother does NOT want to be there, and he is an adult so he has the right to leave if he wants to. But he can't drive and he has no way to get back to Maryland with his belongings. So how can he leave?

ok, so here's the deal. My mother met a crazy woman named Crystal from Troy, NY online, and this past may my mother acted like she was mentally ill and told my father to leave our house in maryland and stay with his mother. The night after my father left my mother unplugged and hid the phone, then went out and got Crystal, who had taken a bus to MD and brought her to our house in MD, then the next day they rented a moving truck and made us pack everything we could all in 1 day and move to Troy, NY. I could not call anyone because my mother refused to let me use the phone and whenever I said anything Crystal would just yell and threaten me. I am now back in Maryland because I was in college so my mother drove me back in August. While they were down here Crystal cursed my mother's parents out and threatened to kill me while my mother said NOTHING and did nothing but look sad. In January my mother and Crystal also drove my sister to Penn state, but in Feb. my sister realized she could not

If a fire alarm said pull down how would you make sure you hand is in the right position and that you have a good grip? Would you need to pull it out and down or does it go straight down? What would you feel so you know the handle is going down? Would you know how far down to pull the handle before you pull it? How do you know when to release the handle and if you need to hold it down before releasing.Could it take two tries if you lost your grip? If there was a fire and you were outside in a safe area would it take about 20 seconds to pull the t-bar handle?

Lady drove 2 hours to take me to hospital. I called her the next day and she said you don't need to come over and give me anything. I said I know. Then I never went over. Now I have a card for her but do I pay her for gas or would that offend her since she said she didn't want anything?
