ok we all tell kids there are no stupid questions to encourage their curiosity. However we all know that at a certain age there are stupid questions. Especailly freshman in college ask some of the stupid questions ever. Like they ask something that the professor just said. I think some people think asking questions make them look smart. So Yes i believe after like 16 there are stupid questions

"There's no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people", as a teacher of mine once said.
No question is stupid in that it asks for knowledge. But it's stupid to ask certain questions at certain times, under certain conditions, like the ones you've described. It's the people in these cases who are stupid.

yes of course there are stupid questions.for all ages not just older then sixteen. think about it have you ever been in a situation where, say a 10 year old asks the stupidist thing whove ever heard. and they are for real and not joking?

no, a question is asked when something is not known, someone else might know the answer saying "that is a stupid question" but the asker doesnt know it
