....hair is 'escaping'.

Does it bother you and why?

The reason I ask is because I don't think it bothers most women one bit if a man is losing his hair. Put it this way, we prefer a man who goes bald gracefully than a man with a comb over or a Francis Rossi!! My hubby and brother are both going bald and they're both pretty much ok with it. They shave it off to a number 1 or 2 and they look and feel fine. But, I know it bothers some men and I wonder why.

Doesn't bother me as I don't have to look at it. Don't even get a proper view when I'm shaving as I don't have my glasses on. The slow motion disintegration that is ageing balances things nicely that way.

Well, I'm 27 and I have a receding hairline and I am starting to develop a bald patch on the crown of my head. I really don't let it bother me.

I kind of knew it was going to happen because in a HUUUGE family the only person who lost their hair was my dad.

If anything I show it off. It's not like I'm proud of the fact that I am developing a Dan Akroyd hairstyle, I just make a joke out of it because it's not a serious problem for me.

I believe it bothers men because they feel their virility will be questioned. I never have cared either way. I'm secure in myself. I have a full head of hair, but I shave ALL mine off in the summer to keep my head cool. Then I let it grow all winter to keep my head warm. My brother started going bald about 20 years ago and had a transplant done. I think he has to go back for treatments as his hair thins more and more. That just isn't for me.

I haven't lost much hair yet, if any. But, all things considered, hair loss and gray hair bother me about the least of anything to do with aging. It bothers me much more that I have to workout harder just to stay in the same shape, that my eyes won't last forever, and that my reflexes are slipping ever so slightly.

That plus money is becoming sexier than sex.

of course it does...to some men its a sign of age and that they are not getting any younger to some its nothing to others its the culture we live in..its great that it doesn' t bother you but some men are anal about it they don't want to go down without a fight...just like some women with their breast when they start to lose their fullness and start to sag...some women use a push up bra..others get plastic surgery...because of the images we see everyday in movies,magazines..etc...we want to be accepted not rejected whether by our mates.peers.or anyone else that we value their opinion...anyways i'm rambling you get the point...i also shave my head and it drives my wife wild =P
