Yes, you are programmed before birth in your DNA as to any type of sexual orientation you will have, once you materialize on earth. I doubt any environmental influences, upbringing or traumatic experiences, will ever change anyone's true nature. Like I don't understand, how people cannot accept and understand gays, for instance. Who, in their right mind, would want to adopt a gay lifestyle, if it weren't already their natural interest to begin with? Yes, I'll just decide to be gay to rebel against my parents or society. I couldn't pretend for a day, to be anything other than my own heterosexual/normal self. I'd say the act would wear thin, after awhile. One would begin to feel completely unfulfilled. You can't replace one with the other. The world has got to evolve to realize that people are who they are, because it's necessary for them to be that way. Now unless they are harming someone directly, or themselves, I think people had best get a grip and leave others alone who do not fit their stereotype. We all must march to our own drummer. What's right for me, is not necessarily right for you, and so on! Let's just hope more understanding and compassion will develop soon, for everyone to accept and respect those, different from themselves! Don't you agree?

You are born a man or a woman, that's that, you were not born to be anything that you are not, that doesn't make sense. At any given moment you are what you have become during the time before that moment. You are born the way you are at that very moment, and then you begin to become who you will be. At 2 days old you are what you have become over the past 2 days (and 9 months of course) and at 40 years you are what you have become during all the time before that. In a sense we are all a little bit of our parents because we are what has become because of them, and so forth spanning all the way back to the first men.

Well everyone has their moments when they feel like they were born the wrong gender. Most of the time it's because of what the guys have that the girls don't and vise versa. Girls, for example, hate periods. So they all think that the guys have it good because they don't have them. I'm sure guys have their moments, too. Although, I wouldn't know. I'm a girl and I'm pretty sure God made me to be who I am, and no one else. =]

This is a big area to cover...I don't feel like typing to much more, but your born with your traits and the environment your in can alter these traits sometimes in a positive way ands sometimes in a negative way. this is why kids need a strong good guidance by parents to help them find themselves !!!

My best friend was born a gay man, and he is not happy, not because being a gay man, but because how the society react to it.
He didn't think it was because God made him a gay man, it was just a natural biological thing.

God chose me to be a woman and I am. If he wanted me to be a man, he would of made me a man but he didn't (thank God LOL) but if someone feels differently than I do, that's their business too and I try to respect all opinions!

I believe we are all born with our sexual preferences and proclivities in place. They do not always live in harmony with the bodies we have, nor do they necessarily follow the "norms" of society.
We owe it to ourselves to be true to ourselves. Have the sex change operation if you can afford it, come out of the closet and live as you desire. This is the most important---be true to yourself.
