So much cynicism in these answers. You can make the world better by doing to others as you would have them do to you. You can go further and help other people who fight hunger, cure disease and educate others, You can shelter the homeless, comfort the grieving and visit the imprisoned, You can humbly serve others, avoid loud and aggressive people and love your family. Any or all of these would be a good starting point

You personally may not be able to change the whole world but you can make changes in your neighborhood, town, or city. All population centers have organizations that need volunteers to function. From mentoring children to assisting the homeless or volunteering in the local schools as a teachers aide or tutor. There are thousands of opportunities to make our world better if we just look around us.

We could make this world a better place through respect. respect for different views, beliefs and opinions. none of us are alike and there will be some friction but if we respected each other more the world would have more tolerance and less turmoil.

People need to stop abusing the children of this world and the future generations will grow up to be nicer and well adjusted people that care about those around them. Just don't go the other direction and coddle them too much or they are conceded little brats that think the world owes them....

By treating others the way we want to be treated. By respecting everyones religious beliefs and cultures. If we start doing these things I believe we will be off to a good start.

Stop fooling around and do what we have to do. Stop pocastinating.Get things done.Think of your future first not anything else.Stop looking for perfection and look for whta we need.Carry out our responsibilitys.
