I feel as if I am a diamond in the rough....I live in a small town in Kentucky and I just see this whole world in front of me but, I can't grasp it.....The only thing here is factory work and all my friends are content with that and drinking beer every night....I love musicals and opera, and film making and fine art these are all things that I love but, if I told my friends they would laugh at me....Sorry the question is do you ever feel like that, and if not and your in a great city surrounded by great things to do and diversity and culture let me hear about it.....I just feel as if I'm stuck here forever......

Also be specific, serious and tell stuff that is a fact. I know this may be asking a lot but to me it counts and this is a topic I am interested in a lot so please don't do it for just the points or ignnore it because it may take some time. Thank You!

Instead of different nations, different defence forces, different currency, different rules, why don't we think about a world government elected by the people of entire world, for co-existance of entire mankind, live together with peace and share the wealth of earth.

Do you like living where you are? whats the weather, people, atmosphere? big or small? safe? Im just curious to get peoples perspective from all over America! Whats it like on a day to day basis? Details would be appreciated!
you DO NOT have to tell me the city name if you dont want to....but please give me a region or say "near Miami..." something like that..... Thanks in advance!

Where I live: a small town about 45 min. from Los Angeles. The weather is amazing. we average 75 degrees most days of the year but change quickly- one day its hot, the next its windy, stormy and raining. Its generally very safe, low crime rate. 20 min from the beach. I love the atmosphere and people are VERY friendly.... tight knit community (which can be a good or bad thing....everyone knows everything about everyone...) when walking into a supermarket, you are like to know at LEAST 5 or 6 people. and the cashiers remember your name. population: 33,000. How about you?

As a female of 22 I've come to realize I can't stand other girls, they just annoy me to no end. I've had some as friends in the past and realized they only got in the way when I was trying to work on something or watch a movie. What I can't stand is how they sit and talk about their lives, their love interests, I really dont care to hear it and sometimes I just find myself wanting to bite their heads off. And even worse when I go out in public, I can't stand other girls, I guess this must be a dominant temper, but I just cant get along with them without wanting to strangle them till they shut up
Its just girls i have this problem with, I get along fine with older women for the most part. It's even gotten to the point where someone calling me a girl is insulting because it seems like they're just classifying me wirth the others when I am not like them at all. Must be an alien eh? or perhaps another type of being
since I dont even act like the others.

It's obviously wrong to be a murderer, pedophile or racist but if we censor these people does it really help? If we tell people not to tell us who they really are how are they going to get the help, discussion or support that they need?

One of the alternatives I can think of, to dowry problem is conducting simple marriages (low cost why not registered marriage followed by a reception).

Depositing the funds parents want to give them in individual/joint provident fund account and giving the couple right to take refundable loan upto 25% of the deposited amount and spend the interest accrued freely.

This will give financial security parents want to give to the couple.

You may have your ideas – can you share them.

If you want better in sight of human nature one of the sources can be. http://www.righteducation.org/id53.htm

if you see a racist question and you happen to be offended by it, just report it as being abusive. don't give the racist the satisfaction of knowing he's achieved his objective.

People are becoming more brutal in action and even speech. Hardly anyone seems to stay married. The next generation of kids in school will have stange times when parent teacher day rolls around. Stealing it seems is even something that seems to be a gray area.

shift depending on the social climate at the time, or even on other factors. For example, sometimes Latinos are considered White, sometimes not. Yes, some have white skin. But skin color is different than race. Other Latinos have African ancestry..Are they Black, Latin or Black Latin? Is Latino its own race? I say yes; some disagree. As for middle easterners, some consider themselves white, others don't. I know of some middle eastern people who I've always thought of as white..until I found out they were middle eastern. They have fairly common last names that I never associated with being "non white." Is it post 9/11 that I now think they aren't white? Am I the only one who's wondered?

Before you flame, I'm black.

It’s not the race...you don't like the mindset...and that mindset, just 'happens' to be carried by a race that is predominantly Jewish, black or Chinese.

So your not racist...you can think blacks in the United States for example, a portion of them, have a chip on their shoulder...You can say that Jews, a good portion of them, think that Palestinians are inferiors..

you can disagree with the mindset...yet not be racist...because blacks, in say, south America, do not have the mindset of chip on shoulder and do not have any hang ups and neither do the whites (I mean, no one is really white or black or Indian. there all the same ****---mixed races)...

so if you don't like a certain mentality, which just happens to be partaked by a certain race....this doesn't make you racist...

it makes you against the culture.

just as you might not agree with the fact that the Jewish lobby in the USA has a lot of power (as generally accepted now not only in media, but amongst the Jews)
