It’s not the race...you don't like the mindset...and that mindset, just 'happens' to be carried by a race that is predominantly Jewish, black or Chinese.
So your not racist...you can think blacks in the United States for example, a portion of them, have a chip on their shoulder...You can say that Jews, a good portion of them, think that Palestinians are inferiors..
you can disagree with the mindset...yet not be racist...because blacks, in say, south America, do not have the mindset of chip on shoulder and do not have any hang ups and neither do the whites (I mean, no one is really white or black or Indian. there all the same ****---mixed races)...
so if you don't like a certain mentality, which just happens to be partaked by a certain race....this doesn't make you racist...
it makes you against the culture.
just as you might not agree with the fact that the Jewish lobby in the USA has a lot of power (as generally accepted now not only in media, but amongst the Jews)

This doesn't make you anti-Semitic--
were all the same **** of the earth...were all human...we all have the same genetic code...
But culturally wise, it’s really about the realm of ideas...no matter if one ideology is held primarily by one race or another.

And I disagree that culture is something that gives identity to a 'race'...that's a naughty arguement...culture is a core component of who you are...but it doesn't have to be a core component of your race...
that assertion itself, is racist..Because if you assume all blacks associate "pop culture" as a central component of who their identity is...then what happens, when that someone, a black person, born in a some other society, doesn't want to relate to pop culture but to another?
is he not really black?
If you label certain races as having cultures that are 'integral' to their identity...you inevitably fall itno racism..Therefore, to claim a culture as one race or another is fallacious. It comes down to the individual choice of the person.
Just as the 'racists' which disagree with cultures, have the right to disagree with the 'cultural mindset' that happens to be predominantly black or white.
This just makes sense.
cheers

I am normally very stringent with people that make such remarks...but I must agree with you. Different races are SOCIALIZED or conditioned to behave or think a certain way. This socialization is called culture. For example, one may make note that some black people have a mindset that poverty is the norm. This is because all they were ever exposed to was poverty. Or the issue in the black community with the lack of positive male role models and fathers have created a culture in which being a young man who is a thug is a good thing. I must remind you however, that not ALL persons of a race will fit the bill of their entire group. One must careful not to prejudge according to a person's background.

Wow you are way off! "Nature vs nurture". Nature being the traits you have no control over (ie race) vs nurture, or the enviroment in which one is raised. You use american and south American blks as an example. Both are the same race. However, what you have issue with is their attitudes-which is a product of enviroment/nurture. The american blk feels the need to assert himself due to inner city enviroment combined with a past history of slavery. This is your "chip". The S American blk is raised in a different enviroment and different past so is a different type of person.
So what you are saying about "mindset" is their cultures (or products there of). The race is merely unimportant. For you tend to be against the culture, not race. Do not nearly all Americans, not just the blks, have a chip on their shoulders simply cause they are from the USA?

Yes & No. Culture may be the same for all races. But races, have their own profile. See what happens with mammals. There are differnt kind of dogs, horses, cattlery, etc. You wont get enough milk from a Hereford, or pood meat from a Jersey; you wont win a race with an arab horse, but you wont get through a dessert with a race horse; you wont hunt with a Rotweiler, but a pointer wont be a good guardian. Whith races, developed through centuries, happes the same. White people use more their minds, black people use more their hearts; latins dont care much for money, but jews do; yellow people are very polite, etc.
Catch my point of view?

Biologists and others have mounting evidence that there is only one race, the
human race. The fact that
Americans believe that Asians, blacks, Hispanics, and whites constitute biological
entities called races is a matter of cultural interest rather than scientific substance. . . .
Race is a myth. All of the genetic evidence
shows that there never was a split or separation of the 'races'. Rather than being a
biological fact, evidence suggests that race is a social construct.Race is not biologically factual. It is not real. . . . Race exists, if ever,
in our individual and cultural consciousness.

Actually, I think culture and race are closely connected. Take the Arab culture, for example. We can thank them for their knowledge of astronomy and their incredible sense of design. There is much wisdom in the Arab culture. However, because of ******* religion, their culture and wisdom has taken a nose dive. Not racist, just observant. I love Arabian culture, but I don't like the present day Arab. To each his own.

What does this mean?
Jewish isn't a race, it's a religion.
Chinese isn't a race, it's a nationality.
Furthermore, it's completely absurd to say that people of the same religious or racial background have the same mindset.
This isn't a question, it's a delusional rant.

Race has to do with a person's genetic lineage, which of course a person is born with. Culture is learned behavior.

Much contradicts your thesis. Basically, one is able to choose one's culture. I am nothing of the "culture" of my parents. I've chosen differently. Thus, skin color has nothing to do with culture but an occasional coincidence.
