Very small town in the Appalacian Mountains. Mostly white and minority of blacks. The only other nationalities of people here are usually doctors who have come here to set up practice. Overall, a very friendly place. There is some bigotry, but we all live peacefully and there tends to be alot of biracial children and couples. I 'm sure everybody has thier own opinion but I always said as long as nobody is burning crosses on the front lawn, I'm OK. Five generations of my family have lived here. My children are biracial and I have never had a problem. I do wish there was more diversity. I sent all my children to colleges in the city (Washington DC) so they could better experience diversity and a different way of life. Being from such a small 'country 'atmosphere , I thought it was necessary for them.

Mainly Americans are in my community but a few people are from Mexico. It's a nice neighborhood because I pretty much like everyone.
