E.g., "Do black people tan?" is a DUMB question. "McNabb is a good Irish name, isn't it?" Uh, maybe, but for a black person, it may be a slave name also. "Can I touch your hair?" Again, dumb.

reflective pad, not your standard plug in thing (although I think you need to buy an adapter for it). Anyone know who makes it, what it was called and where one can get it?

The one thing that I learned from my parents is that they decided to get married and have children for SELFISH reasons. And I have noticed that most people, especially women, are the same way, but are afraid to admit it.

My mother, when she met my father, was a lazy single mother who never worked a day in her entire life (she still hasn’t). She needed a “sugar daddy” to support her, her son, and her extravagant lifestyle. Of course, most men didn’t fall for that trap. So she settled for my father, an over-the-hill 40 year-old man at the time, who wasn’t “rich” but made enough money to support my desperate, dependent mother. I doubt either could do any better, so they settled for each other, got married, and decided to have a few more children out of pure selfishness. They never had me in mind; they never thought of the kind of impact it would have on me growing up and the extreme inferiority complex any normal person in my situation would have developed;

My neighbors make the most god awful noise day and night. I live in a town house with 2 apartments. They make more noise then a construction crew working on a house. They constantly play loud bass music and beat and bang enough that it sounds like they are practicing for the WCW. The land lord has warned them to stop but they just keep right own doing it. They are two young men in there twenties so they will not stop no matter who asks them. Calling the police would be useless. I am now just out for revenge. I need some ideads on how to get on there nerves as bad as they get on mine. Evil but simple ideas would be best.

I've been spending more time on this board than I planned, since I am temporarily unemployed. I was wondering how much time most users spend on here. Also, why do you do it? Where do you post your questions and answers -- from home or work?

How old are you and do you ever plan to have children?
We're seeing 'childless women' more and more these days. I'm 25 and currently live with my boyfriend of one year. And the older I get, the more I'm leaning towards not ever having children. All of my girlfriends have at least one child (they started REALLY young) and I used to feel like I was missing out on motherhood. But now I kind of feel like they are the ones missing out. I don't mean to sound selfish, but with our society being the way it is, what reason is there to have children? I understand that it's human nature to reproduce. But, the children are the ones often left to pay the price.
What do you think about this?

I live in Exeter, UK and and off to join the Navy in the summer after I leave University. I'd really like to get to meet some old veteran sailors who are now living alone or in care, getting to know them and hear their stories as well as giving something back by lookngi after them a little bit or fetching shopping, sorting out bills etc etc.

This may sound a tad silly, but where is the best place to look up and meet such people? Thanks!

PS Exeter is c.1 hour away from the nearse sizeable port and therefore Naval influence.

For making laws such as banning smoking in washington DC, bars and restaurants, curfews, no sodas in high school, not being allowed to say Christmas in school or singing Christmas Carol, for banning the paintings of Jesus in public places, for our phones and emails being tapped whenever the Govt like, for imminent domain, raising taxes, etc. I think America is turning very communist, do you agree or disagree ?
