I've been spending more time on this board than I planned, since I am temporarily unemployed. I was wondering how much time most users spend on here. Also, why do you do it? Where do you post your questions and answers -- from home or work?

I spend more time then I thought I would. It is somewhat addicting. I do it at home between work, kids, and school. I do it because it teaches me alot about other people, some of which I may be better off not knowing lol. I am usually on an hour in afternoon and about an hour before bed. I love it!! I ask questions that are normally geared towards school, maybe something we spoke of that I would like to know about, or maybe I need to research for paper etc. Some people can be very hateful on here though, that puzzles me.

Seriously, I have a job where I'm stuck at a desk much of the day, so I keep YA in the background for a quick 2 minute sanity break. Sometimes I'll spend my 15 minute "coffee break" here if I'm in the mood. I don't spend too much time on YA at home anymore. (I did when I first discovered it, but the novelty faded after a while.) Every so often I'll have a quiet evening where I want some "me" time and choose to read and answer instead of reading a book or watching TV.

I post my answers from work and I spend time on it because I get bored at times.

I went form being addicted to MySpace to being addicted to Yahoo Answers. Can ya believe it? I spend probably about five hours a day on here. I am working on cutting that time way down.

pretty much every day.I get on from home as i am retired.It's fun and interesting.I find more interesting people on here than jerks,so it's fun.
