You heard a lot of jokes and gossips and never found out who they were, but this particular joke was delivered to you by your best friend and found out that the joke is you.

Personally, I don't think humanity will be extinct in 100000 years. Look at our drive to survive. I think civilization itself is still in its infancy, and that many of the world's problems of today will one day be solved.

In 100 millenia, I think people should be able to expect to never die unless they choose to. No one should be forced to work at a job away from their loved ones, most probably because everything will be automated. Or perhaps money itself will ultimately be unnecessary because we might find a way to photosynthesize our own food like plants do, and other resources might be easy to come by. I think the world's population should be relatively constant, meaning the same people will inhabit the Earth for many ages.

I think it's safe to assume everyone is dissatisfied with some aspects of the world. Well, how do you think civilization on our planet should stabilize? What kind of world do you hope our descendants will inherit in 100 millenia?

.... I only ask because i hear a lot about them, but never really see them in daily life. It seems like they get negative attention for doing very little or nothing at all. My question is, am I just oblivious or are they really very subtle?

People forget and don't even know that after slavery was banned in the US that the slave trade still went on in European countries, It seems like people just try to find ways to make people here look bad, which is very stupid and mean, like I saw a question that said why don't Americans travel more all they know is their own country, the I saw another one that said if America is so great, then howcome there are American tourist's all over the place. I wish peole would stop thinking that we act the way our government acts, if we did Bush's approval rating would be higher then 30%.

I know smoking is bad for health but it is also a social habit that facilitate discussions and breaks bariers easily between people. I'm the only non-smoker in my office (and one of the few at meetings and parties) and that kind of makes people unconfortable around me... My boss thinks that since I don't drink and smoke I'm too different from the others to be a good boss! So, I was thinking of learning how to smoke. I won't take the habit, it's not me, but this seems to be smart step for my career right now. The only question is how do you do it?

When large companies like ASDA's come out openly and say we want real women to model our new range of GEORGE clothing for women, which is why we have Coleen McLoughlin (Wayne Rooney's girlfriend) modelling for our range. Why is it then that the photoshoot arrives on my desk at work and I'm asked to get rid of unsightly bulges, bingo wings, double chins, thin out her thighs, and the like using PHOTOSHOP.

If they say real women shouldn't they leave her as she is, she's hardly fat so why try to make her slimmer, what message does that send to people, especially as she's in magazines saying how she lost half a stone to look the way she does in the pictures. There was no diet, just airbrushing.!!

I'm in high school and lately I've been thinking about what it will be like after I graduate. In my high school there are no classes to prepare for the real world; like on how to iron or how to buy a car successfully or even how to manage taxes.
So what I ask of you is quite simple, what is one thing you wish you would have known before entering the real world. It can be anything from how to do laundry or that one size fits all never fits all.

thanks.

If so, what do you like to be called - is it OK to include you in 'fishermen', or would you prefer 'fisherwoman', in which case the collective term would be 'fisherpeople'?
I would particularly like to know if women from Japan, Phillippines, Thailand, South American and African countries work on fishing vessels, and how you/they prefer to be described, but would also like to hear views from UK, EU, or US fishing vessel crew. If you are a man, would it offend you to be described as a 'fisherperson'? Thanks.
