When large companies like ASDA's come out openly and say we want real women to model our new range of GEORGE clothing for women, which is why we have Coleen McLoughlin (Wayne Rooney's girlfriend) modelling for our range. Why is it then that the photoshoot arrives on my desk at work and I'm asked to get rid of unsightly bulges, bingo wings, double chins, thin out her thighs, and the like using PHOTOSHOP.
If they say real women shouldn't they leave her as she is, she's hardly fat so why try to make her slimmer, what message does that send to people, especially as she's in magazines saying how she lost half a stone to look the way she does in the pictures. There was no diet, just airbrushing.!!

It's ridiculous i'm scared for my daughters growing up in this world the way it is.I hope i manage to bring them up with enough confidence in themselves not to think they have to live up to the so called "Ideal".
