Then I would have to create a joke and put it on them. I may be a saint and I may be holy, but I'm not immune to human foibles.
I would devise a joke worse than the one on me, and put it on them--but only within reason. I wouldn't want to do anything that would leave a scar or an unsightly blemish.

Laugh it off!! I tell you what, the worst thing you can do is get all upset and emotional about things. We're all flawed in our own little ways, no one is perfect. To be a butt of a joke once in a while is good for you. If they get too personal though punch their lights out!

Be grateful that I mattered enough to merit this attention. If a joke is going around it means it's a good one, I would have to be happy that I was a vehicle to making people smile.
