Britain`s Blue Badge guide system is a disgusting anachronism of the Middle Ages where guilds were set up to exclude genius and to support the usurpation of genius and/or secure mediocrity.

I run walks around London without benefit of a Blue Badge and have to laugh when some of the Blue Badges actually attempt to surpass me in areas of film and entertainment.

Hey, buddy, I interviewed Hitchcock. I knew him. What have you done? Passed a (******) test.

Give me a break.

In some countries is an habit to invite your friends or a lady but honestly, I feel that is a stupid habit as I think everyone has own projects in life and his economy accord to it but people do not understand that and generally, when you want to pay your own expenses, one looks like a rat to the others.

In Bolivia, Friday nights are supposedly called 'viernes de soltero' (bachelor Fridays) and married men are free to go out and behave like singles. Does anyone out there know if this is true? How does it work? And are there any other customs similar to this either in Latin America or elsewhere in the world?

Yes, people should be responsible for their own wellbeing but people prove time and time again that they are incapable of that.

McDonnalds and all other fast food is poison, ruining the lives of millions of people around the world through obesity.

McDonnalds (at least in my country) sponsors hospitals providing housing for families of people with Cancer to stay in while their children undergo treatment. At the same time they poison the very same children with a substance that can barely be called food.

It has been shown time and time again truely how horrible and addictive their "food is". I know for one that I hate it but now and then crave a cheeseburger, a throwback to my childhood.

Does anyone else agree that this enormous organisation, if unwilling to stop killing people with their poison should be heald accountable? Drug dealers are afterall even though the individual chooses to take the drugs.

I'm always worrying myself to fatigue about my looks. I used to be an ugly duckling when I was a teenager, and now people seem to find me more attractive. It's true that I'm not used to too much attention. It has made me worry a lot about my appearance that I think of the worse scenarios happening to me. Since I am naturally hirsute, I am undergoing laser hair removal to remove hair from my face. Honestly, it's THE best thing that has happened to me! But, it has also made me be too anxious to follow every word of the doctor's advise, like not to remove hair from my face during the course. I used to be someone for whom plucking hair was as normal and easy as brushing the teeth, so I'm kinda used to it. But, now I'm afraid of even washing my face or touching the chin for the fear of unconciously removing hair. Even if I don't actually do it, I keep imagining that I have. I get depressed for hours, even days, when this happens. I am afraid of myself now. I don't trust myself anymore.HELP!

I have a birthmark on my neck that looks like a hickey (size, shape, location) and I get smart-alec comments, smug looks, odd smiling looks from so many vatiations of people in all walks of life. I'm 35 + and single. Any suggestions of a standard response when mark on neck is noticed? I've finally began to cover it with conceler make-up...but I've had it so long...at times I just think "foo on them...just leave it". Yet wonder what might be going through a man's mind who might see me and notice the ' mark ' and maybe not approach me because of it. Real question...seeking real answers.
