.... I only ask because i hear a lot about them, but never really see them in daily life. It seems like they get negative attention for doing very little or nothing at all. My question is, am I just oblivious or are they really very subtle?

You must be in the wrong place. We know many Jews and they are all good people. If you know history and culture and science you know that Jews have contributed and do contribute a great deal to society. If you haven't had much contact with Jewish people, where do you live and work?

They aren't obvious all the time about their religion because they are afraid of being discriminated against. They don't wear signs that say: I'm A Jew! on them. If you get to know someone really well, then they will tell you about their religion, but don't ask, or that person could be offended.

The Jewish population is doing about the same things they did in the day that they had to have a tattoo on their arms to brand them. Do you really think you have to know a Jew to be a racist?

I know lots of Jews. For the most part they look just like us. How do you know what they do if you don't know who they are? I like the ones I know and my brother married a woman who is half Jew. So what? What's the big deal?

I know plenty of Jews. If your expecting to see them dressed up like the Amish then you won't see many. They are just people like you or me.

Well, maybe that's because they don't go around saying "IM A JEW" to everyone..lol, they go about their normal daily routine like the rest of us!!

They don't live in your town. We exist, but mostly in cities and near cities in America.

my friend is jewish. but his family is rather humble i guess. they do alot for the community back home and really don't get teh attention they deserve but they are happy with it
