It all depends what you want out of life. There are good and bad things with living in a hot, sunny place. I live in Spain and yes, it's great to get up to the sun shining most every day. It makes you feel great. This time of the year you appreciate it more because it's not too hot and you are able to enjoy a lot of outdoor activities. On the other hand in the middle of the summer when it gets really hot, you feel drained of energy, lethargic, you don't sleep too well at night. The mozzies are a real pain in the ***. Then there are the tourists, taking up all the parking spaces, seats in the restaurants, emptying the supermarket shelves and like the mozzies, being a pain in the ***. So I guess on balance, life is probably better living in a sunny and hot place. Hope I haven't confused you too much.

Breakfast on the patio nearly every day. Lots of Bbqs. The advantages are countless
