There were three guys in a bar: a doctor, lawyer, and plumber; plus the bar tender. A police man walks by just as he heard a gun shot and the bar tender yell, "Why'd you do that, Joe!" The cop walks in and arrests the plumber... How did he know it was him? (The gun was on the floor and everyone was standing looking at the shot man)

Why is it that when a white person says something about another race its considered racist but if someone of a different ethnic backround says something its perfectly fine?

Some of you may have already answered this... just wanted to have as many people as possible take this survey, so I'm posting again (assuming that more people see it and answer when it's one of the "new" questions).

Honestly now, when will it stop, I don't use the word, I don't hear many people using it, except for Blacks. If it's so damn offensive to them, then why do they use it but get mad at the time a non black says it. I think it's ignorance from their part, and a way to identify or segregate themselves from the rest of America.

We have 4 adopted children. They all have similar facial characteristics. But one in particular looks just like me, her mom, and even though we had a family discussion about the adoptions, she refuses to accept that she is. She says it can't be true because she remembers being inside my tummy and that she looks just like me, which she does. Everyone says so, especially my parents. She is just 8 years old. She is very smart, but adamant about this. Even my family has asked if I had gave birth to her. My current strategy is not to push the issue, but answer questions as they arise and hopefully as she gets older she will accept this. I hope this a good strategy. I'm not being an ostrich and avoiding it, but neither am I obsessing over it either. Thanks for your help.
