I have just watched the news and they trying to recommence commercial whaling in the Atlantic - WHY would they do this? (I realise that not every japanese person is in favour of this but the majority must be as the Japanese would not have such a strong lobby for this otherwise). I just do not understand their mentality!

Just worked out that yesterday I only spent about 45 minutes of my 8 hour shift actually working. Not a lot I can do about it because it's the kind of job where the work finds me, rather than the other day round.

How hard do you work?

Two parts to this question.
That yellow stuff that's in your eyes when you wake up every now and then. What is it, and how does it get there? I've heard it termed 'sleep'.
Secondly, what *is* sleep? As subconsciousness, I mean, and why do we need it?

Firstly, I'm not gay.

That said, it bothers me how one only has so many pockets (even with cargo pants) whilst one has so much to carry. Things that won't fit in pockets but -will- fit in a handbag. The alternative is carrying around a backpack but that's unwieldy and cumbersome. Why isn't there some middle ground? And if there is, please, I beseech you, elucidate it.

It seems to be unlike any accent/speech pattern around and is unique to Gay Men - Is there some camp finishing school known only to gay men where they go to be schooled in camp etiquette and speech patterns?

Guys seem to enjoy women as an object of lust rather than individuals to be respected and loved. The media projects women as beautiful creatures and nudity is common.Who is to blame.Men,Women,or the society and media.Or is my observation incorrect.

Does this debacle not prove that we have all completely lost the plot over Christmas?

People (who most certainly can't afford to) have lost around £1000 each....£1000 for one day?!? Most of them aren't even religious

Don't get me wrong...I'm really sorry for them, but hey, isn't it time for a wake-up call?

Christmas had always been huge in my life until I was once so poor I couldn't afford to send cards even...I worried myself sick until the 26th Dec when I realised that everyone were still my friends and talking to me and it was all over like it had never happened...I learned a valuable lesson that year - Christmas is just another day.

Anyone else out there smelt the coffee?
