I what to no the difference between winter and summer.

It is 6:53 A.M. on the east coast. Winter is from December 21st to March 20th and summer is from June 21st to September 20th

...huh? um, in California it's 3:44 am, in Massachusetts, it's 6:44 am LOL it's summer here, the weather varies drastically from place to place. On the coasts, winter and summer are pretty much the same, especially the closer you are to the equator (southern california, florida, etc.). Inland, summers are pretty much boiling and winters can be freezing. It all depends on where you are. In Southern California, if you go just an hour from the beach towards inland, in the summer you'll boil in the heat, because the ocean air just doesn't reach that far. In the valley... ooo don't get me started -_- let's just say temperatures of 115, 120 were reached this summer...
