It really depends on you.... It is perfectly legal to have an abortion. Not only is it legal it is your right as a woman. I think it is a mature decision that only you yourself can decide.
Please do not pay attention to the hateful replies by Religious Fundamentalist here... They will call it murder. The last time I checked it was not legal for a doctor to perform murder....
The Religious Freaks will bomb an abortion clinic but have never adopted a single child....

I haven't studied it in depth, but here's what I know... Pros=avoid having child that one doesn't want, make up for mistake, can save a woman's life... Cons=stops a life before it began when adoption is an option, can hurt the woman's body as well. Me personally, I think abortion should be used as a last resort, unless the child would not have a good upbringing, in which case they would probably live a very hard life, and I would not wish that one on anyone

Pro's; you get rid of the child, so main goal is achieved.
Con's; you'll never forget the baby, every year you'll wonder what might have happened had you kept it. Imagine if you could never conceive again and that aborted baby was your one chance. It would ruin the relationship with the father.
I am religious though, I believe that every child conceived was conceived for a reason. Then again I have never been in that situation - I wouldn't know how I would react if I got pregnant right now.

You asked and I will give my honest opinion. What I say doesn't matter, it is just what I think. What you do, does matter. It will affect your future and tremendous ramifications. This is what I think.
Pro -- You will believe it empowers and liberates you. You will be FREE of being responsible for an innocent helpless human being that will NEED YOU for it's survival.
Con -- You will not be able to avoid the truth forever. Eventually you will come to the realization you murdered your baby. Why does it have a heartbeat, brainwave activity, emotions, dreams?
There is a difference between true liberty and perceived freedoms: true liberty entails being responsible for one's own actions; perceived freedoms think only of themselves and no one else, selfishness.
FINALLY, I would like to say I have a son with Down's Syndrome and I wouldn't trade him for any son in the world. Also, my mother was raped and had not just one child but twins. Now, my oldest sister is a lawyer helping people in need. Her twin the father took away. Life is a blessing in a world filled with death. If you do not want this baby of yours can you offer the baby up for adoption? God bless you in your decision.

1st this is in general, not for any one person... if you are pregnant i hope it helps
Con::
1. potentially there could be medical complications, even with todays more advanced procedures.
2. depending on who you believe, you could be ending a life.
3. can cause problems with friends and family depending on where they stand on the issue.
Pro::
1. the only pro, and it is a big one, is that you are given a choice. a choice to chose for yourself the way you should proceed with life. that person will then have an experience to tell them what is right or wrong. and the precautions they should take before having sex.
i am sure there are more, but these seem to be the best for the amount of time i have.
i believe in choice. i know if my GF was pregnant i would ask her what she wants. i love her, so i know any choice she makes will be right with the both of us.
