Just worked out that yesterday I only spent about 45 minutes of my 8 hour shift actually working. Not a lot I can do about it because it's the kind of job where the work finds me, rather than the other day round.
How hard do you work?

I don't work, too busy on here to do that, seriously I had a bad accident a good few years ago so I can no longer work, but the job I had before the accident was the pits, really busy office, dragon of a boss who really got her moneys worth out of you, we worked 8 hours a day with no breaks in between and a half hour lunch, it was like heaven when she was off and we could just mess about and chuck laci bands at each other and talk all day long, so wish YA had been available when I was at work.

Hello unfortunately I left the best job I ever had a few months ago, (smack on the hand) And not to my liking still am, out of work. But when I was there I used to work really hard coz I was scared of my boss's they used to shout at me ,HHHHMMMM, MOST PROBABLY WHY I LEFT, and I used to get home completely exhausted. So in answer to your question, out of my 9 hours at work I'd end up working 8, Well they could'nt take away my hour lunch thankgod. :)Hayley-May.............I know at the begining I said it was the best job I ever had I did think so at the time I loved the customers.

Depends on how busy my shift it..I do 12 hr days and probably work about 2 hrs ..Most of it is spent being on hot standby incase some thing breaks down.

I work about 7 hrs of my 8 hr shift. I work as a CNA.

about 2 hours i would say but normally less, the boss is hardly in at the moment so no one really works.
Our sales ataff have gone home for lunch they left at 10, they say they will be back at 1pm tho.
if you can get away with it why not

none its good hey! all i do is sit on net looking at new stuff to buy etc or on Yahoo answers! i would be lost without it!
hate it when net goes down tho! i end up sitting here with nothing to do!
