We are twins, born from the smae mother, BUT we are on the opposite sides of the hill.We never met, we never will.

I've heard this riddle before, but it was worded a little differently. It was like this:
Identical twins, we live on opposite sides of a hill that is not steep, yet we never see each other. Yes, we sometimes weep.
The answer is eyes.

A tree? One on top of the hill (mother), an oak for example, two acorns fall either side, and become two oak trees.
