People are homophobes simply because they are afraid that if they support homosexual marriage, they may in fact become gay themselves. This is an honest observation, but interesting that they don't have confidence in their own sexuality. I believe if gay marraige would be allowed, people wouldn't see it as perverse, but good luck with all those conservative jerks in office who are so afraid of gettin turned on by Mark Foley that they'll bash gays all the more, to prove how straight they are

You are resting on the flawed assumption that homosexuals are NOT monogamous.
They are just as monogamous as straight people. They go to bars and have one night stands---just like straight people do. They then develop relationships with each other and become monogamous to each other---just like straight people do.
And as far as your question goes--Yes, they would. They are the ones who perpetuate this myth that "Gays are promiscuous". They are not any more promiscuous than anyone else. This is also why they are wanting their marriages to be recognized.

Homosexuality is a sin, whether you want to acknowledge it as such or not. If you don't want to respect my religious conviction why should I respect your immoral lifestyle?
If you want to call me a homophobe for having religious conviction, then that's your choice, but it just makes you seem as ignorant as you assume that people who oppose homosexuality for any reason are.
