I find it to be a huge generalization and also not true when people say English girls are ugly. I have spent a lot of time in England and seen many pretty girls. Also my current girlfriend is English and she is very hot. So I don't understand why this stereotype is so commonly used. Technically A hot WASP American girl is of English descent which makes the stereotype seem even more untrue. I just don't get why everyone says this.

For the past 9 months, I've worked every other weekend as a security guard at an independent living community for seniors. I've taken on several extra days as well, including many holidays.

The problem here is, the guy that works for me asked if I could come in on my weekend off and fill his shift because he has important issues to tend to then, and cannot move them to another day. He works 730a-330p, then I work 330p-1130p. I'd be MUCH more inclined to help this guy out if he didn't have the early shift, because getting up at the crack of dawn is a big inconvenience for me and not my time of day. On the other hand, it seems like he would be in a bind if I didn't - though I don't know if he's asked others as well or not.

What would you do? I'm not obligated to take on extra shifts, but still..

sorry, i asked this question already today but i didnt get enough advice as i wanted.
i was in an abusive relationship for about 3 years and now 4 years after it ended i hear from an old friend saying that the guy is wanting to get a hold of me again and he seems sorry about the past. i have since moved out of state and he said he wanted to come to where i am now and see me. i DO NOT want anything to do with this person so far i dont think he has my phone number but he seems to be a profesional stalker so i know it wont be long until he gets it. i never thought i would have to deal with this person again its been 4 years and i thought i had broken free but i guess not. from what my friend said it seems like he alredy knows a lot of personal details about my life and i live halfway across the country now. i dont know what he is up to or what he is trying to do but i know i dont want anything to do with it. i need some advice on how to handle this emotionaly and to make sure im safe

I've had this same dream for the past 2 yrs. I'm the leader of a group of about 20 people of all ages, gender, races & ethnicities. I lead my group in breaking into people's houses to do good deeds like filling their refrigerators with food, watering plants, putting in a better piano, etc. But these dreams cause me great anxiety because we keep almost getting caught by the homeowners, and I have to keep little kids quiet so as not to give us away, or an elderly person from straying and being seen. I once had to shoo a man out of the study since he was reading a book. I don't know why I have these dreams since I'm nobody's caretaker, don't have kids, and nobody's even sick around me. Do you have any ideas?

OMG i was at the mall w/ my friends today and we jus met this spanish girl and we talked to her...welp she was only talking to me and asked me how old i was and what school i go to THEN she asked me for my number (BTW i gave her a fake phone number)...the weird part is that SHE didn't ask or talk to my friend cuz she was all busy talking to me. then when we left my friend told me that the girl was looking at me from head to toe and she was like "do you think she's a lesbian?" eeeewwwww! we did see her a few times and omg does she scare me!!!! lol

I am 17 years old and i am a lesbian and im not afraid of what others would say or what they would think. i just dont understand how people can critisize others about there ways of living. you would never be able to guess how many people these days are gay. we were made to evolve and thats what we are doing. i just believe gay marriage should be legal. just think... if we couldn't love who we wanted then what kind of life would this be, we live to find love and when our love is restricted we feel dead.

Is it that people don't want a challenge or they don't want to put some thought into an answer or are they afraid of looking stupid if their answer isn't world class?
I mean if I ask SHOULD I KILL MYSELF? I will get 50 answers to that question. But ask something thought provoking and I would be lucky to get 2 answers.
