When I was eight, I was sitting in Church, not paying attention to what the preacher was saying. I was giggling a little with my cousins. All of a sudden, an energy came over me that I could not control. Had no idea what it was. I wasn't trying to be saved or anything of the kind. I felt such a need to ask God to come into my life at that moment. That's how I know there is a God. Also, all through my life there has truly been Divine Intervention at times when I needed it the most. I don't have a specific religion, I'm not even sure most churches can give you the answers you need, but you really should develop a relationship with God.

That is a very good question! Excellent
Yes, the right thing to do is leave one to decide on his own what he wants to believe in
I did that too.. And believe me my mind is more open now, than someone who just learned by others of what to believe in
You have to relise the truth by yourself.
I'm an Orthodox and I know it is the Truth that Jesus is God and the Christ both Scientifically and Historically.. I research religion, read books when i was just a kid.. No other religion fulfills my degrees in Physics and no other religion can explain some of my own risen questions
My decision therefore came through Time
And by the way if you study the Bible carefully, and as i explained in other topics on Yahoo. Jesus' Death created a pathway to God for men to be able to grasp after death
Being an atheist will just cause a painful eternal death separated from God...
And yes Droolie is right! Muslims do believe in a God and a world that will never exist! It is just fairytales

I always knew. I went to Catholic school, and no I was not molested. LOL!!! On top of paying tuition, my parents were subjected to a mandatory "donation" and we were made to sell raffle tickets and candy. If we didn't sell our quota, guess who was eating it? It only pushed me away from the religion even further. I already questioned everything. The nuns and priests just basically did not explain anything to me and told me if I sinned or whatever I was going to hell. Now that I'm older I truly regret my parents sending me to Catholic school, it was nothing but a waste of money. I feel we were taken advantage of. I was not molested, but I do feel violated. But again, that experience just made me despise ALL religion in general. Now the Muslims aren't doing a great job of convincing me they're any better than the others, in fact I believe they're nothing but idiots blindly believing in a lost cause. At least catholics and Christians know enough not to die for their beliefs.

Are you really an atheist? Once I figured out the Catholics didn't follow the bible, I changed to Lutheran and very happy with the lifestyle on earth and look forward to all heaven has to offer.
