You can't judge how good a mother a woman would make by whether or not she works. Some women just aren't maternal, and that has nothing to do with her working, or staying home.

its the woman herself that makes the mother not a job. some might think if she is working and having a good job, she would make a good mother. thats not true. the woman and how she was brought up will have alot to do whether she will be a good mother.

I would say yes.
Staying at home mom are extraordinary. My hats off to all of them!

Working (outside the house) mothers might see more diversity of people, have more diverse social life (with adults). Might have more energy because they are able to focus on other things than the children and house chores. Come back home with other things to talk about than children. More energy for everybody - themselves, children and husband included.

depends on the woman. it is really hard to be a full time mom. the lack of intellectual stimulation can drive you crazy. I have found that working part time makes me a better wife and mom because i am happier.

I don't think so.
That's just me.
I guit work 3 months before my son was born and went back to work after my daughter was in the first grade. That was a total of nine years that I did not work.

I didn't want anyone else taking care of my children. Just me.
