the stereotype is because of the way english women looked during the dark ages and during the plague and stuff, thats when they looked like people imagine them, well i guess it hasn't gone away

My dad seems to think this too. I have no idea why!
Maybe because (and this is a long shot...) the English are always seen as sort of "prim and proper", whereas the American girls are sort of portrayed as these "party girl" types.
So okay, if this is the case--what sort of girl do you visualize in each scenario?
Cultural stereotypes, I guess, lead to false depictions of what people actually look like...

okay the inbreeding thing is way off and if there is anyone that is NOT inbreeding it is the English Sass B. and djtzclark, you visited newcastle wants and saw some unatrractive people so that means ALL English girls are ugly. That really shows your ignorance. Spend some time in most of suburban United States and you will see some really ugly chicks. Generalizations suck.
