All the time in school people call me a dumb blonde and I want to know why

ppl say tht because of all the dumb blode jokes with the bolnde brunette and red head
the blode always did sumthin stupid thts how it firsnt started

This all started back in the 30's and 40's with a lot of your early movie starlets. It was not that they were stupid, but they were a bit ditzy, and all this created laughter among the movie goer and also brought attention to the starlet. Then the ordinary housewife seen how much attention they got and peroxide sales went up 100%. But not just being blonde was not enough, and they had to act the part of a stupid or dingy person to get more attention. Then as time moved on women liked the blond hair, but the stupid part was already imparted on the blonde, and so they have been the butt of jokes since. I do personally know many blondes that are extremely intelligent and Trust me, you are not stupid or a dumb blonde.

Started in Hollywood. All the hot starlets were blond with big accoutrements. And they all played dumb gals in the movies and when making public appearances. Mass media just stereotyped you. And you're not helped by blonds that keep on being dumb (male spelling used because they act dumb in both genders)

Well not "all" blonds are like that
But I had a humourous experience not so long ago
A lady friend of mine told me the story:
She came to a hault at the traffic lights and a blond girl stopped next to her
She pulled down her window as my friend did too.. So the Blond girl asked " Did you fart too?"

Most likely because they think you are smart and are threatened by that.
My sister is blonde and she really is stupid, no one calls her a dumb blonde.
