I'd like to learn one more language but I can't decide which one to pick: french or spanish.

I can speak three languages. My mother tounge is indonesian language, and my second languages are english and german.

Which one is better for my future? For example, when later I want to apply for some jobs.

"long time no/not see".I am not a native english speaker but i speak pure english though. sometimes i just find it weird to say long time not see. My friend told me it is not accepted as a proper english and was commonly used by chinese long time back when they were learning english.

Here it is:

Ein Schwabe, der einen Blumenstrauß gekauft hat, erhält Wechselgeld zurück, das er genau nachzählt.
„Stimmt was nicht?“ fragt die Blumenfrau.
„Doch schon, aber gerade mal so eben.“

I don't get the end - schon, mal, so, eben - all together - German sometimes doesn't make sense to us, foreigners.

This one is for the english majors.
I understand that it doesn't flow as much to pronounce the p.
and too I understand that there are other random words like salmon where a letter is silent (though they usually seem to have a precedent and rule we know about)
I understand the descriptionist point of view. But I'm not an english major so I don't know the answers here.
Out of the top of my head, I don't see a precedent for the p to be silent in that case. I wonder if the reason people don't pronounce the p is just a simple matter of mispronunciation.
not to be a stickler, just wonder if it is wrong to pronounce it with the p if I prefer to.
