I don't want to number them, but I'd say Spanish is the easiest being the most logical grammatically and phonetically spelt. That doesn't mean it is simple, just that it is relatively regular.

Italian is a close second.

French is more complex owing to relatively difficult pronunciation and relative lack of phonetic spelling (compared with Sp. and It) combined with the use of diacritical marks (accents, etc.), which often do nothing to alter pronunciation.

If you know French and Spanish, then Catalan is fairly straightforward - I can read it adequately, although speaking is another thing.

Portuguese is very close to Spanish in written form, but the pronunciation is quite different. I always think it sounds like a Russian speaking Spanish.

Don't know much about Galician; but understand it's getting close to Port.

Romanian is said to be closest to Latin having had fewer outside influences than many other Romance languages.

Latin is probably the hardest as it's a very synthetic language, where the function of the noun/adjective is shown by its ending - this is alien to native English speakers. Also, the verb is much more complex than that of its daughter languages.

I would say that Spanish is the easiest above all because of all the cognates. If you learn spanish, its easy to learn Italian because the languages are so similar. French is probably the third easiest, and i would consider Latin the hardest because it is a dead language so it is harder to develop the listening/speaking skills since you will only hear it by the person who it teaching it to you.

I'd say italian is the easiest one, and at the opposite side is romanian, not because of the reading, as some guys were saying over here, but grammatically speaking.

I'd say Spanish is the easiest and French is the most difficult since I've tried learning them both. :) I haven't even heard of a couple of the others on your list! lol

Latin easiest (because 60 percent of Enlish is from Latin, so you already have a huge head start.)
French hardest (because reading and speaking, it's like 2 different langauges.)

I don't speak all of these, but this is what I would assume

1. Spanish
2. French
3. Italian
4. Portuguese
5. Romanian
10. Latin
10.Catalan
10. Galacian

I say this because the latter aren't as widely spoken, and therefore if you wanted to learn them through immersion, it would be trickier.
