My wife and I are currently experiencing a miscarriage and we want to make a memorial for our lost child. It was to early to determine the sex and we had yet to think of a name. I do not want my child remembered simply as Baby Hale, so we decided to make a memorial and refer to our child by a name that better expresses our feelings. We are also taking suggestions for names, they must be foreign and beautiful. Please help us. Give name or phrase and translation.

I can't make any sense of this sentence. Could you translate it for me? What's the subject of the sentence? Is it Pfadfinder? Is that plural? Why" der jungen" - is that dativ or genetiv then? I totally don't get it :(
