Has anyone learnt Swedish and Finnish as second or third languages? Finnish seems daunting with its difficult grammer and whole new vocab whilst Swedish seems to have more common words with other European languages. How difficult is Swedish grammer?

Hi, I am a native English speaker living in Australia.

I am currently working as an IT Consultant, with the goal to switch jobs and achieve an international career in Finance.

To help me in my career path I would like two learn two additional languages.

My first thoughts of useful languages would be Mandarin and Arabic.

After doing some research I have found that Spanish and French are also important in international business.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank You

ie. In the UK, would you go up to London from Manchester purely because it is the Capital? I guess I am really talking about what you may call 'Queens English' as against the various local dialects across the UK

Modern methods of 'imparting knowledge' greatly rely on language! However a language-sense expands unimaginably when it relates infinite precise number states!

An answer relating said infinite precise number states is not good enougf to support a public awareness!

I consistently grasp a-meaning to tetra-hedron, which relates tetra and hedron! How 'general public' grasp it is most relavant to related questions and answers!

I'm trying to say ---
Dear Ryan,
What's new? How is your family, is everyone well? My family is good. My sister, Elizabeth, is growing very tall and is almost/nearly 16! Do you realize how fast time goes by? My brother, Jimmy, is also getting very tall.
I take the class of Spanish on Mondays and Wednesdays at 12:00. The professor of Spanish is very intelligent. I like the language of Spanish.
How are classes going at the university? ~~~ like this? ~~~

Querido Ryan:
¿Qué hay de nuevo? ¿Cómo es tu familia? ¿Totos bien? Mi familia is buen. Mi hermana, Elizabeth, es crecimiento muy alta y es casi dieciséis! ¿Te das cuenta de lo rápido que pasa el tiempo? También mi hermano, Jimmy, es crecimiento muy alto.
Yo Tomo la clase de español los lunes y miércoles a las doce de la tarde. Mi professora de español es muy inteligente. Me gusta la lengua de español. ¿Qué tal las clases en la universidad?

¡Thanks much for any help!

i would gladly appreciate the correct pronunciation of the latin phrase: divide et impera

i'm pretty sure that the correct translation from latin to english is divide and conquer, and the conformation of that would be appreciated as well. thanks
