Hi mum
I love it in France, it's really great. I love my penpal, she's very nice. At the weekend we went shopping and then to the beach. Yesterday we went to the cinema with her parents and brother. We visited the Eiffel Tower and a cathedral, it was very interesting. Next Friday we're going to a resturant and the park, it's really nice. My journey was quite long and tiring but fun.

I have read on Yahoo that a lot of people watch videos or read books of the language they are studying to help. But how can you do this if it doesn't make sense at all?! I know very few words of the language I am studying (bokmål, if anyone is wondering), and with the talking rate of the fluent speakers, how am I supposed to understand a single thing they are saying in videos?

Before you knew English, how badly did you want to learn it, and how often did you hear it wherever you lived? What made you decide to take up and actually learn it? And how did you learn it; Did you read books, buy a program, take a class, etc.?

Any answers help, you dont have to answer all of them.

If the Americans want to 'borrow' our language, the least they could do is learn to use it correctly!
For any Americans reading this, here are some examples of your mistakes:
1. colour (NOT color)
2. authorisation (NOT authorization)
2. centre (NOT center)

I've tried Babelfish and the results were not satisfactory. If a Japanese speaker could translate this into English, I would be very grateful. Thanks!

The book is called THE LEAST OF PROPHECY. It is a Christian book of Prophecy, and must be translated exactly as written. This must be a volunteer effort at this time. Thank you kindly. You may review the book at: http://www.mtaonline.net/~fom/file1.html
