I was thinking, since I am only 14 years old and I have plenty of time (I am a fast and high grade learner), that I should try learning something usefull in my spare time. What options for home learning in languages are there? I was thinking doing Greek or Philipino as my half of my family speaks one or the other. Thanks in advance.

Under planned new citizenship tests designed by the government to bind a nation of immigrants to common values, would-be Australians will have to demonstrate they know the meaning of mateship, having a go and dinkum. Assuming you pass the tests and move to Australia, you'll probably find yourself flat out like a lizard drinking.

Willst du immer weiter wandern?
Sollst du mein auf ewig sein.
Kehr zurück, kehr zurück.
Der Frühling treu und lieb.
Kehr zurück, kehr zurück.

Does anyone know of a website, or other source, that will teach a person old irish as well as the ogham alphebet in conjunction with it? I am not just looking for the ogham alphebet, but the ability to translate the ancient writing. My library sucks, by the way, so that method is out. They are anything but helpful, and ordering a book from another library is a real pain. The name of a book I could order, however, would be helpful if you do not know of a site. Thanks!

Does anyone think it would make things a lot easier if we called each country by the name they call themselves. For example why can't everyone call Germany "Deutschland" Italy "Italia" or Spain "España" etc.?

Germany for instance is:
Deutschland in German
Germany in English
Alemania in Spanish
Allemagne in French
Germania in Italian
where none of the last 4 have any similarity to the way it is in it's own language.

And I am not German, Germany was just my best example.
