please, can somebody tell me, what the exact meaning of "peripendicular" is and where is comes from ?
I actualy know the translation of the words: peri= (greek) around etc. and pendicular means somthing kind a "pendulum like". But it make no real sense.
In german we have a totaly other word for the meaning of "in 90° to something" written "senkrecht" (spoken thank-racht)
so maybe somebody can explaine me the origin of this word
