I work for a very wealthy attorney. Anyone he needs or wants, he has. Trying to come up with Christmas gift idea. He is married and has an 8 year old daughter. Anyway, was thinking of maybe a board game that he can play with his family. Is this a really silly idea? Be honest, I can take it :) Thanks for your help. And any other suggestions would be great.

I took my kids to the Mall last night to see Santa and the winter wonderland they have set up there every year. This year, the first time I may remind you was far different then the last years, not just the decor, that is to be expected. No it was Santa! My kids where not aloud to sit on Santa's lap and talk to him about their Christmas wishes. I asked Santa if this was his chose and if so I would understand that, but he responded in a eye rolling answer of NO. He said, he was told this year by the Mall that he was not allowed to have children sitting upon his lap, because some people have a problem with it, not every one, but some. So now Parents like me who want the pictures with the kids setting on Santas lap, smiling that Christmas smile only he can recieve is lost? Just stand there and avoid the stranger! In this time of Political Correctness even Santa is getting fubared, I mean really what is becoming of us and the time old traditions we all grow up with and injoyed?

Ok, I'm being bossy now. But it's in a good cause. Christmas is supposed to be a time for giving. So what are you going to do for someone tommorrow just to be nice if you're all feeling so bleedin' Christmassy!!???

I'm going to buy someone at work lunch.

Mine is hot apple cider, we have it at my grandmas house every year. It always makes me smile if I smell it throughout the year.

Okay so Ive broken down and turned to you people for not an answer but maybe a solution. 6 months ago I gave birth to my second child and we want to make his first xmas speical. I also have a 13 yr old daughter who is as I type this once again in the Pedi ICU battling her lung disease. We do not honestly know how much more time or how many more holidays we will have with my little angel. She told us she wanted "lots and lots of lights" so when it was -20 degree's outside her stepfather and I put the baby down for a nap and went outside to freeze our butts off to grant her this wish, which she will see when she comes home {hoping before xmas} anyhow our neighbors are just outraged at us. We live in a very upscale neighbor hood and both sides of us have told us we have gone over board and should remove some of the lights. It is not tacky at all just icecicle lights on the house, porch, privacy fence, bushs and a few lawn orniments and lighted candycanes.

I have everyone on Christmas list bought for EXCEPT my brother's new girlfriend and my niece. I have no idea what to get my brother's girlfriend because they have only been dating a short while, but I do want her to have something under the tree. She's in her thirties. Any ideas? Also, my niece is thirteen and I have no idea what to get her, either. Any ideas for either of them are appreciated! Thanks!

I am trying to figure out who and where do people celebrate St. Nick's.....I was raised in Milwaukee, WI, but now live in southern North Carolina and no one here has ever heard of it and they look at me like I'm growing a second head when I talk about it.

Please can somebody tell me, in scientific terms, just how Father Christmas (that's "Santa Claus") actually manages to distribute all those toys in one night using just a sleigh and some reindeers? And how does he get into houses without chimneys? No-one has ever adequately explained this to me.

Please - no flippant answers like "it's magic"... We are not talking Harry Potter here, are we?
