I have a Christmas open house for any friends and family who lives close enough to come to my home. It includes a full meal, gifts of home made candies for the adults and a gift for every child who shows up. I generally know in advance which children will be here-grandkids, neices, and nephews etc. This way I don't have to spend Christmas day cooking all day as there is generally enough food left over for another regular meal or two.

That sounds amazing. we've a tendency to bypass to my dad and mom and spend the evening with them or purely snuggle down in the front of the television jointly and watch for Santa! Its reliable to keep in mind that someone nonetheless places their tree up on Christmas eve instead of three months before like each body else!

this is a nice question...Everyone in the family head to my parents house for a get together...supper, gifts etc etc. These gatherings are worth more than any gift...then after the party my wife and 3 kids and I go for a drive and look at Christmas lights. It seems to be a tradition with us now.

Convince my parents that, despite the fact I'm mid-20's, I need to be permitted to open a present before I go to sleep (like we did when we were kids hee hee).
Also eat lots of Christmas Cookies - yum.

Nothing in particular, just doing something with my children, getting them excited about the day ahead. Sometimes we stay in and watch a movie, or go skating, sometimes it is visiting friends. Just as long as we are together. We do make Santa a nice snack though before bed and have a hot chocolate.
