Real, theres nothing like dragging a 12foot tree into your house and having it drop about 2 million needles all over the wood floor in the lounge!

I asked the same question about a week ago. I ended up getting a real one. Smells AWESOME, but there are pine needles everywhere and they are getting stuck in my dogs' paws. some of my ornaments are too heavy for the branches and keep falling off. we've got 3 weeks to Xmas and I will have to buy another tree before then because this one is already starting to go brown. If you live in cold christmas climate then the real tree would stay alive a lot longer. If I had to choose again, I would choose a fake one.

Fake, as much as we love the real ones its just not possible to have one, we have a daft old golden retriever and have to be careful no needles from a real tree gets stuck in her paws, that would be so painful for her.

Has to be fake, I'm afraid; real trees are expensive year after year and the needle drop is a pain.....

The area of country I live in, it's so dry that a real tree can be a real fire hazzard. So, I have a fake tree.

Mine's fake but in my area, the real ones can be deposited at council depots after Christmas for recycling (mulching, I suppose).

We have a fake one in the house but every year we buy a baby real one and plant it in someones garden.

We were planting in our own garden but we have 5 now so are always on the look out for donor gardens to plant one in.
