Holidays - October 2006

I'm in college and I'm inviting some friends over for a Halloween party. I'm a rather busy person, so I don't have a lot of time to go out and buy stuff, and I don't want anything too complicated.
I was wondering about ideas for activities, other than talking and watching movies. I have a small apartment, so relay races and the like won't work.
I am not going to allow any alcohol at my party.

I work at a retail store (all females). Anyway, we had a secret santa drawing and I drew my manager's name.

She is in her late 20s, engaged, and she just moved into a townhome. She is a really bubbly person. We made a storewide rule...NO Bath and Body Works or Victoria's Secret (because in past years, that is all people got! lol)...

So any ideas, people!!? I was thinking a nice throw blanket or something...

The price range is $15-20

I am making about 30 goodie bags (for adults and children) for a Halloween party. So far, I am putting in a pack of either Nutter Butters, Oreos, or Chips Ahoy...a granola bar...and a pack of gum.

Does anyone have any fun, or inexpensive ideas, other than the typical candy?? I was thinking maybe a Halloween pencil or something....I don't know, is that stupid? lol....

i have no clue what to be... like at all...
i have to have a costume for skool, one for work [[i work at the mall and we do trick-r-treating for little kids]] one for a halloween party. and yeah thats it... im 16, have no clue what to wear... i need help. for skool it needs to be cute but not revealing cause its lameo high skool, work has to be somehting i can wear around like 4 year olds, but i still have to look cute cause ill be at work, and a halloween party. well i dont know about this one, cause its an adualt party, but its hosted by my family and so yeah... there all protective, so little revealing but not much, help?? please??

yea, i'm traditionaly making my HAlloween costume and it's like 8 days till the big day.
i'm being an upgraded alice in wonderland and to tell you the truth, it's one of the hardest things EVER.
working with my mummsey is so nerve wrecking and i loose my patience like every 6 seconds.
we had a whole 2 weeks and a half to start but i was away and occupied and now we haven't even beggan to sew the most important parts together.

I already have the teeth, but I don't want to be just a vampire, I wanna be sumthing different. I was thinking a vampire pimp, but I know alot of people going as pimps already. A man was walking home alone late one foggy night, when behind him he hears:
BUMP...
BUMP...
BUMP...

Walking faster, he looks back and through the fog he makes out the image of an upright casket banging its way down the middle of the street toward him.
BUMP...
BUMP...
BUMP...

Terrified, the man begins to run toward his home, the casket bouncing quickly behind him

FASTER...
FASTER...
BUMP...
BUMP...
BUMP...

He runs up to his door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him.

However, the casket crashes through his door, with the lid of the casket clapping

On his heels, the terrified man runs.

Rushing upstairs to the bathroom, the man locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps.

With a loud CRASH the casket breaks down the door. Bumping and clapping toward him.
The man screams and reaches for something, anything, but all he can find is a bottle of cough syrup!

Desperate, he throws the cough syrup at the casket...

The coffin stops!
