That is a noble idea, but I'm positive that your local "soup kitchen" will have plenty of volunteers. Why don't you volunteer there in May, June, July, or August for example, when those places REALLY need the help?

I don't live in PA. But no matter where you live there is a Salvation Army close by. Our family has volunteered with them for years. A very friendly group of people. They will be happy to hear from you.

Call around to some local churches, Im sure they will know where you could volunteer. I think its a great way to spend Thanksgiving. Good Luck to you.
