you really shoulddescribe whta kinda of party and how old you are drinking or not like school friends should come we hae no idea but if your young enough i would go out with my friends and trick or treat 16 and im going out, i know people that are i nthere 20's and still do,even though its more about the smoking pot anddrinking and doing fun stuff like egging but **** halloween party unless you sure to have a good amount of people coming or somthing really good other wise holloween parties arn't even close to as good as going out on halloween its only once a year man don't mess it up

Yes! Get lots of decorations and some halloween music for the background.....if you want to go all out, you can get something called "scene setters" to put on your wall and make teh room look like a graveyard or something.

Depending on age? Bob for apples, eat popcorn balls. Have a belching contest. Have everyone guess what the costumes are.
Have everyone bring a prize with them and the best costumes get to pick out of the prizes first to the best voted costume then down the line.
Serve beer.

Play music while you have dinner. (I always do a pot-luck to cut down on prep time and cost.) Have some games available, and make space if anyone wants to dance. If you have any friends that can show off (break dancing, belly dancers, etc) ask them to perform!
A cheesy prize for best costume is fun. Play at least one "little kid" game.
Movies are great too.

just get one of those smoke fog machine things and put it outside. then get DDR and have dance contests. thats my idea of a party
